The Active Ageing Centre is located in Košice at Bačíková 7. The concept of the center and its focus is unique in the region. The aim of the Active aging center is to offer a community space for active leisure time for seniors. Seniors have at their disposal a relaxation room with board games, a gym, a kitchen and a conference room in the centre.
In the premises of the center, educational courses and lectures are regularly held for seniors from various fields such as information technology, law, handicraft production, healthy nutrition, physical activities and the like.
The center’s mission is to keep seniors active and healthy and to create space for their socialization through the services offered.
