Building community over 60
The Active Ageing Centre, unique in the region, is located in the centre of Miskolc at 1 Városház tér. This community space, in the spirit of spending time actively together, offers various opportunities and programmes for those over 60 years of age. There are board games, fitness equipment, a computer with internet access, and a comfortable lounge. The facilities and services of the centre are available free of charge every Monday and Thursday from 09:00 to 14:00.
There are also educational lectures, health, exercise classes and other sessions on a regular basis, of which you can find information under the “Events” menu. The mission of the centre is to use its services to help keep older people active and healthy, and to support existing and emerging communities that help each other on a voluntary basis.
